Seasons?

What is your favorite season of year? Why?

It is hot, humid and muggy! The air conditioner is working full time! I love it! The late sunset and the green grass all add to the beauty! Meanwhile my husband alone is nervous when the electric bill arrives! Did I mention the aircondioner running 😂?

Me being outside a lot, my binge shows are on a backlog! I switch on the TV late at night and I am half asleep due to exhaustion! I think that is good in one way but I have already paid for some streaming services! Should I disconnect them 🧐?

That said, we are supposed to have a much cooler weather next week. Maybe play more pickle ball? Remember a sport I wanted to play? I got one and it is really good. Yes! fall temperatures with late sunset is golden.

Each season is beautiful and unique in it’s own way but summer seems to make me more busy and active.

I am not a soccer fan but it is in the air along with NBA finals the men in my house will be discussing scores! I can’t avoid that.

Finally made my blog to Eastern Standard Time! I got a night owl achievement award from WordPress. Looks like mine was set to London time! Of course my late evening posts became a night owl posting.

Thanks for hearing my rambling on a hot and humid summer day! What is there in a weather! It is all in our minds!

    This feels like a real summer day just reading this … AC running, late sunsets, and a bit of chaos in the best way!
    I like how you see each season has its own rhythm. Fall pickleball weather does sound like a great change though.
    Also had to smile at the “night owl” WordPress discovery. Sometimes our settings know us better than we do!

It sounds like you’re making the most of summer—being active outdoors, enjoying the long evenings, and even finding time for pickleball.     After about 2 weeks of sun and heat, we had a nice afternoon downpour. We need it – and the electricity bill needs the relief. 🤣
