Workmenship Then and Now

The past few days I have been sharing my brother’s pictures and writing down a blog. He is now doing a road trip, a trip I too dream about visiting Temples and enjoying the beauty.

To his pictures I add mine too. Those are the Temples that I visited in the United States during my road trips here.

Take a few moments to appreciate workmen talent then and now.

Learn more about how these Temples are built from here. https://www.hindupedia.com/en/Temple_Construction

This is the Brihadeshwara Temple, Thanjavur, completed in AD 1010. Has the biggest Kumbham or the top most structure carved out of single stone.

14th Century Built Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple, Srirangam. Hosts the largest compound.

Thiruvaanaikavu another beautiful Temple built in 2nd Century.

Now for the Temples that I visited here and built this century.

Frisco, Texas, Karyasiddhi Hanumam Temple.

Balaji Temple, Chicago, Illinois

Shiva Vishnu Temple, Washington DC

Sri Guruvayoorappan Temple, Morganville, New Jersey.
