Our neighborhood ice-cream shop opened last Tuesday and we were lucky the weather was good that afternoon for an ice-cream. I took a picture of the ice-cream and my younger one said, oh this is for your blog! Of course I said! Winter is done and spring has arrived. We had a very mild winter. Unlike the West coast there was no snow and we didn’t shovel even a single day.
A long overdue purchase was made this week. We got a singing machine, a karaoke box. A cheap one for all of us to play with. We used the microphone during my special one’s music class. It made my son’s music teacher so happy. She could hear his voice at last loudly. Hopefully we will have some recordings soon😊.
Last year we painted this tiny pot and the past month I have been planting fenugreek seeds. This is my kitchen herb garden 🪴.I have harvested nearly 3 times in the past month. I hope I can call myself a successful gardener!
Today my special one painted another tiny pot and made it into a bunny in his program. Will be adding this pot to our kitchen garden and now I have two critters taking care of my plants 🤷♀️😀. I call this irony. I work all summer to save my plants from these tiny critters 😀. By the way we use fenugreek seeds in every day cooking and these leaves I use as garnish for my soups and sauces.
It was a busy work week with lots of activities but some simple things give joy more than the others.
