Long trips!

What’s the longest trip you’ve ever taken?

Lot of round trips to India but I would say our road trip to Dallas was long! We were on the road for two days and it really ripped our band aid for traveling. We had not been on an airplane for a long time and we thought it was easy to drive than to fly!

Route 66, Missouri

A 2400 mile round trip in August was hot and our family really bonded! Now that my son has been desensitized to air travel I do not think we will be doing such trips anymore. Yes, we are doing road trips but not this much long distance!

I have been following YouTubers Kara and Nate’s 5000 mile trip from Europe to Asia on a school bus for the Mongol Rally! Sounds interesting and fun but…, I would safely sit at home and watch instead of doing this! Looks like they would be doing it in six weeks!

  1. A family really bonds on a roadtrip – congrats on ripping that bandaid off. I do love a good roadtrip. I still need to rip the bandaid off one day, hopefully soon, for T and travel to Asia. So much to see over there!

    1. I know the trip to Asia is long. But you can help him with break of journey in between! Meanwhile if I could find a money tree I can travel business or first class which would be more convenient and comfortable 🤣!

      1. A first class trip to Asia would make the pain of flying with T tolerable. 🤣 I hope it happens for all of us!

      2. Keeping fingers crossed 🤞😂!

  2. What a wonderful travel story! A 2,400-mile road trip in the August heat sounds like quite an adventure, but the best part is how the journey brought your family closer together. Sometimes the long and unexpected journeys become the memories we cherish the most.
