Real and fictional world

Which fictional world would be the most fun to vacation in?

Didn’t I have a tea or breakfast with a fictional character a couple of weeks ago!? 🤔

Have been to so many of the kiddie fictional places. My second kid was train obsessed at one point! I really enjoyed a train trip on Thomas the tank engine! We also paid money for a trip on the Polar Express! Not a vacation but a day trip to these places.

Themed vacations are now common! Everything is marketed now and we fall prey to it!

It is Onam today! A harvest festival celebrated in Kerala. A lot of people are now complaining that it is now being marketed so much and the festival is loosing it’s original charm!

We have started confusing reality and fiction so much! We really are in a confused world 😀!

Is it not a common saying, the world is a stage and we are all actors? Looks like a fictional world we are all living in today!

Picture Courtesy my Mom! She had an Onam Sadya in Chennai, Tamil Nadu! Growing up in Chennai, I never had that opportunity 😀!

  1. Travelling on a real life Thomas the Train would be a dream for T!

Wishing you a fantastic Onam celebration. The hubby and I spent 3 days in Kerala in 2012 and we loved it.

    1. We have been on Thomas twice 😊! We have taken pictures with Sir Topham Hat and enjoyed our time at Island of Sodor. Stating to make T a bit jealous!

      1. I’ll have to let him know!

      2. 😊 definitely!

  2. Very nice.
