A self care henna project!

If you had to get a tattoo right now, what would it be and why?

I am not into a permanent tatoo but would love to have a temporary henna! I am not into making statement! Just plain and simple! Or something bridal!

I really have no idea whose hand this is! Some bride had forwarded her henna! I have saved it! Definitely I need to put aside some time for henna self care!

It is time to pick one up from an Indian store and try to make a design and take the afternoon off for the ink to dry or the henna to dry and make my boys at home do some work! A good weekend project 🤷‍♀️😀!

  1. I first became a Madonna fan in the late 90s after her Ray of Light album. She donned henna in her Frozen music video and era. And I had to get henna. The Indian henna artist was an elderly woman and she told me henna is only for women. But I didn’t budge. lol. It was fun having it for the two or so weeks that it lasted on my arms.

    1. Ya, it is supposed to be ladies only! 😀

  2. What a lovely and refreshing take on henna! 😊 I completely agree that you don’t need a permanent tattoo to enjoy beautiful body art. Henna offers the perfect combination of beauty, tradition, creativity, and a little bit of self-care.

I especially loved your idea of keeping it “plain and simple” while also being open to a beautiful bridal design. Sometimes simplicity has its own elegance, and a delicate henna pattern can be both artistic and timeless. 🌿✨

    1. I love the henna patterns so much!

  3. Henna, a little self-care, and putting the boys to work sounds like the perfect weekend! 😄

  4. The henna tattoos are so glorious. I can’t imagine sitting for one with tattoo needles. The intricacy would make it most unpleasant.

    1. I don’t want something permanently imprinted and later feel bad about 🤷‍♀️!

      1. Fair point. An unfortunate henna washes off, a bad tattoo does not.

  5. Good thoughts….carry on
