If you could erase one event from history, what would it be?
India was ruled by the British,. Small portions like Puducherry were ruled by the French. Goa was by Portugese.
When I was little I used to think what if we were occupied by French instead of the British that I would have been studying in a French medium school 🙂!
The prompt took me years back! What an unnecessary thought process for me as a little girl 😀!
Looks like the Spanish, French, English and the Portugese tried to conquer the world at one point ! The English became the dominant force! The sun never set in British Empire became true!
The Louisiana purchase by the Americans from the French in the US did change the course for this country too! The language spoken became English!
Ha ha, this can be an endless thought process!
I finally got caught uo with Father Browm on Brit Box! Why do I have these obsessions towards these British shows? A language and culture that was immersed in my school days 🙂!
Picked up a Nancy Drew book at a dollar store last week! Just brought back memories. My dad used to bring them from his office library!! My first exposure to American culture was through these books! Nancy Drew has a house keeper! I really don’t know anyone having a housekeeper in real life!
Penned down a lot of things from memory!
