What’s a conspiracy theory you actually find believable?
There are so many different kinds of diets on the market.
I truly believe that a healthy diet is good and I have personally seen gains with me and my son.
But there was one diet that was recommended by one of my son’s doctors.
It is called the paleo diet. She really pushed for this diet but our family being a vegetarian, culturally and by religion we did not have a second thought.

But I kept thinking more about the diet. It encouraged people to eat a lot of nuts! Personally I love nuts but if I do eat a bit more than usual, I feel uncomfortable. I also thought, the ancient men and women were hunters and gatherers. Men put in a lot of effort to kill an animal! The energy lost was huge. Women too put in an effort to gather nuts, vegetables and berries. Whatever they ate got digested because of the energy they lost. Meanwhile, us, we pick up all at a supermarket neatly packaged. The effort being, pushing a cart. For people like my mom in India, she doesn’t even do that task. She has it delivered!
Comparing ourselves to Paleolithic Era and coming up with a diet I think is absurd! But I give the benefit of doubt! If it works for you, well and good! But I just wanted to lay out my case. Deep down, I always thought this was a money making scheme 🤔! Not a conspiracy theory but something that is heavily marketed!
Gluten free, special carbohydrate diet, casein free, keto diet, raw diet, these are a few that I have learnt in my journey as a mom to an autistic child! Three decades of diet knowledge!
