Every day has a story!

I get teased saying by my family that I have something to write every day.

Yes, look outside your closed box and you will definitely find a story.

My husband came back from work today. He said, he had something funny to say. He had a new work colleague who had moved from California who introduced himself and said what a lovely day and appreciated the weather! My husband told me, he needs to wait a few more months to enjoy the cold laughing 😃! It was a beautiful day here in Pittsburgh.

Beginning 2026, my family has been to multiple doctor visits. Nothing emergency but more of a well care visits. We have been in and out of ao many medical practices and hospital buildings. Do you know how hard it is to navigate these buildings? One building had two elevators. One with three floors and the other with seven. I was so lost a medical resident kindly assisted me to safety. But the crown of my embarrassment was when I tried to check into a gym. I was surprised the doctor office had such a nice gym. The front desk lady said, you are in the right building but wrong office 🤣😂! Please check the map near the front entrance! I think I was beyond embarrassement. I now know why doctors undergo such vigorous training. Maybe to navigate their workplaces.

All said and done, everyday is interesting and there are stories around you. It can be a bit funny or embarrassing but it can get you through the day. Something to smile about as you end the day.

  1. This made me smile, especially the mix-up with the gym/doctor office. You’re right, there really are stories everywhere in the ordinary moments, even the slightly embarrassing ones. And honestly, those are often the ones we remember most at the end of the day.

  2. What a lovely, warm, and beautifully human reflection Ganga! You’ve captured something so true: that there’s always a story if you just keep your eyes — and your heart — open. The image of you wandering into a gym thinking it was a doctor’s office made me smile so wide. Honestly, that’s the kind of mix-up that would make any medical resident chuckle, and you’ve turned it into pure gold.

And your husband’s California colleague? Oh, he’s in for a surprise when Pittsburgh winter really shows up. 😄

You’re right — every day holds something worth noticing, even if it’s small or silly or slightly embarrassing. Thank you for sharing your little moments. They made my day better, and I’m sure they’ll make others smile too. Keep writing — the world needs more eyes like yours.

  3. A wonderfully light, humorous, and deeply relatable reflection. 😊✨ I loved how you turn everyday moments—like workplace misunderstandings, hospital maze adventures, and even a mistaken gym visit—into warm little stories that bring a smile. There’s something very comforting in the way you show that life doesn’t need big events to be meaningful; even small, slightly embarrassing moments can become the best memories later. A cheerful reminder that stories are truly everywhere, if we just look closely enough. 🌿😄
