I promised myself that we would not do any long distance travel! We would stay home and enjoy things much closer to home. May was filled with what I would call “life happened”. I wrote almost every day and updated my blog. But these are My special moments. Not my special young man’s or my family’s!

Beginning of May my brother dropped by. We went out for shopping and icecream! Just the two of us. A sibling bonding happened!

A beautiful day was spent at ISCKOn West Viriginia. The peacocks were on the trail and this peacock was not happy to see me! He was trying to get the peahen’s attention!

I stayed up late at night to watch an election result. My home state in India had an interesting election and the days following were interesting too! I think it was one for the history books!

I slowly started putting myself out on the trail! This one had a lot of steps. I am still slow but doing it!

On a gloomy day we visited Fort Pitt museum. Really have got addicted to museum visits.

Thanks to my brother me and my husband enjoyed a Violin duet concert. It was a great gift. The timing was perfect. That weekend we celebrated the day me and my husband met 30 years ago!

When my family did 5k I settled down for a mile walk. Any time less than 20 is great 🙂!

I am crazy about visiting National Parks but state parks are beautiful too. Memorial day weekend we spent at Tomlinson State Park, WV. Planning a trip is a journey and experience. Even these local trips give so much fun.

May did end surprisingly well. After a lazy Sunday morning we were at Lake Milton state park in Ohio to do a story book trail and a nature trail.

I am putting my foot down and moving. My ligament pain is not gone but I am able to manage it. I would say, May was the month I started climbing up.
