Ambience!

What is your favorite restaurant?

I am a foodie! I love to eat! When I was little loved a place called Shanti Vihar. Remember their paani poori and vegetable cutlet! My dad was never an eating out person, and there weren’t many restaurants forty years ago. So us going to that place was a luxury. I remember when I was six or seven when the waiter and my dad together taught me to use the knife and fork. Remember little girls trying to be ladies!

Yes, many years have passed. I don’t know if that restaurant is still open but those memories still remain in my heart!

Now there are so many restaurants and fast food joints but I am just craving for a hot coffee most of the time. Eating out means one less load of vessels in the sink and less kitchen work.

Yes, love the ambience of a restaurant that cannot be duplicated at home!

A quoina salad and an eggplant panini? (no idea)

Last December on our road trip we reached Sedona, Arizona very late. Sedona is supposed to be a beautiful red rocks tourist town. We were disappointed but decided to have dinner at a pizza place! It was a cold night almost freezing temperatures. We didn’t have seating inside but they had a semi covered seating with space heaters. What made us enjoy the dinner, it definitely was not the food but the ambience of the place! Definitely a great experience for our family.

Sedona is still not checked off our list of places to visit! Maybe we would go there one day again and eat again at Pisa Lisa enjoying the indoor ambience!
