Excited to share pictures of my Navaratri 2025.

The five step golu display. This has my first dolls which are not big but huge for my sentiments. Assorted dolls of Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswathi along with Maha Vishnu’s Dasavathara and Ashtalakshmi. The steps ends with Sangeeta Trimoorthi with every Golu’s marapaachi bommai.

My collection of Devi dolls. Tapas Kamakshi, Rajarajeshwari, Renukambal. Kamakshi, Meenakshi, Visalakshi along with Abhirami are displayed here.

The entire Ramayana is not here but a couple of scenes from the epic are on display like Guhan taking Rama on his boat, Rama giving Ahalya moksham and Hanuman giving Seetha the ring.

The story of Lord Krishna is part of Srimad Bhagavatam. Very fortunate I have been able to add almost all of the events beginning with the birth of Lord Krishna to his fun time in Gokulam to him killing Kamsa.

Different stories from Hinduism depicted like Gajendra moksham, Story of Markandeya, birth of Muruga and Adi Shankara’s Kanakadhara.

Tirupati Perumal’s Pushpangi seva is our center piece. Thanks to a great program me and my son learnt to make this Lotus on which Perumal and Thaayar take their seat.

My oldest biggest doll given by my Mom. A beautiful Ganapathy takes his seat.

Every golu has a social setting and a Temple Kumbhabhishekam is our setting. Along with Kavadi for Murugan. Chettiyar and his wife have set the shop.

Scenes from Hindu marriage, baby shower, kids ear piercing ceremony, bramhopadesham, housewarming ceremony along with the meal all are part of this display.

How can an Indian golu not be without a cricket match?

The park scene and games are a fitting end to a Golu.

Arts of my son is kept all over the Golu display but this shelf is completely dedicated to his work. Nothing huge. Getting dolls and painting them 😊.

Here is my video link of my Golu 2025.

Thanks for visiting my Golu virtually today.
Here is the thambulam.

A decorative sand bottle made by my son’s friends at his program and a fidgety acupressure ring for all.

Let us add some Verkadalai or peanuts sundal along with Lemon rice from Ani’s kitchen.
Bowing to Mother Goddess for giving me the strength to do this in such a large scale inspite of so many hurdles.
Please feel free to comment like and share my video and blog for all to enjoy and get inspired.
