What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?
The Olympics are coming to a close. How fast the past two weeks flew by. I did not watch any events but have been following it online. I loved the social media memes about the Turkish guy who won the silver. The games have been eco-friendly, and I laughed out loud when they showed the beds in the village were made with cardboard. The athletes had trained so much. I think they deserve some air conditioning and a good mattress.
I never was good in sports at school. I was not a good singer, so my grandmother recommended I learn an instrument. My parents and my brother were artists, but I was no way close to them. But every school has art, sports, and music classes. People think only if they are good that they should continue these activities. For me, the lesson I learned with my special boy is that these help in the overall well-being of the individual. You learn to appreciate art, music, and sports even if you are not good at them with these classes.
Yes, an Olympic gold medal is not for everyone, but there is so much more than a medal if you train yourselves in a sport.
I have been writing about “My stories from Holland.” https://specialmomsblog.mom/2024/08/02/perseverance/
And for today’s tulip from Holland are art, music, and sports.

I hope this blog of mine makes people understand the value of arts, sports and music 😊. We all may not be Micheal Jackson or Phelps but we all can grow better and enjoy 😊.
