Yesterday at the garden center, I had to control myself not to buy this plant. Fire cracker flower or Kanakambaram (in Tamil) was a flower that I was so fond of when I was little. These are strung together along with jasmine flowers and when worn on, would look so pretty.
As I write this blog, I am having second thoughts of visiting the garden center again and maybe buying it. My Grandmother would have had a heart attack if she knew the cost of the plant, since these flowers were bought so cheap, next to nothing. But these are my memories from my childhood and I say, why not splurge on them. Something to occupy my mind for the week 😊.
