A low maintenance bulb that seems to bloom on it’s own. It is also the first flower to bloom in my garden. Last week, I saw them sprouting but the weekend storm covered them with half foot of snow. As the sun came out Sunday afternoon, I saw the green stems trying to survive the cold snow . Hopefully the snow would melt soon and my daffodils would be back in action. Daffodil Days, usually held in March, raise funds and awareness for cancer using this cheerful symbol. Aren’t Daffodils motivating us? I fell it does.

Guess they are very resilient plants!

Hi Uma, I love Daffodils too, they are also called narcissus and jonquils. They are beautiful. Mine were coming up too and are covered by snow too, but the snow is melting now. I hope they survived the March snowfall.

We can learn a lot from daffodils. No matter how much darkness piles on, the daffodil continues to reach for the sunlight. 🌘🍃🌞🍃🌼
