Peonies look like roses but the plants are completely different. One of the flowering bushes in my garden.

      I have peonies in my back yard too, Uma and the flowers get so heavy they sometimes droop over. Also in the Spring, the little ants get on the unopened blossoms to eat the nectar that is on the outside of the blossom. They are nature’s tiny helpers🙂
