An icebreaker!

What emoji(s) do you like to use?

A straightforward prompt. I love to use emojis. All the smileys are my favorites. I also use thank you 🙏 emoji a lot. 😡🤷‍♀️ I am using with my teenager. One way. I am letting out my emotions without him getting hurt by using hard language. Snapchat then gives funny emojis and we continue our chat with them. So emojis are like an icebreaker for me with him.

    I am glad you are able to use them with your teenager. People understand different forms of communication. And with special needs people, you sometimes have to use “out of the box” thinking in order to communicate.

    Thanks for replying but I do this with my typical teenager. But you gave me an idea . I can make my special one communicate with his brother this way. It would create an interest in texting.🙏
