It is already Memorial Day weekend. We were just celebrating the dawn of 2024, and we are almost halfway through it.
The weekend kickstarts summer activities. My son had his first outdoor party, and after a long time, he really enjoyed the time out with his friends. I think this was the first party that my boy did not want to leave. The music, food, and weather were perfect for him.
As for me, I caught up on all my laundry and started out on garden work. Both are never-ending. I still have a lot more to do in the garden. At least, we have started the work. I also cooked a lot this week, and one day I just prepared food that I love. Moms who cook just look out for what their families eat, and for a change, I decided to prepare everything I love.
Most of the week, I was nervous about a package that I had ordered from India. It did get stuck up in customs and took more than the normal time to reach us. I vowed to myself that I would never order anything from India. I do not know if it was worth getting tense. My husband was least bothered by it, and I think that is the reason I put so much pressure on myself. I do now know how the entire DHL Express service works.
I have planned something huge for my family this Sunday; if it is successful, I will definitely blog about it. By the way, need my husband’s blessings in a big way for it to materialize! I do hope it does 😀!
