My Navaratri Golu setup is almost all done! My second kid came back from school for the weekend so he could see the set up. As he put the Dasavataram dolls he kept saying out the Avataras of Lord Vishnu! A senior in college and he took the interest. Me and my husband smiled at each other as all the long drives in traffic to the temple for Bala Vihar class every Sunday morning did have a positive effect! I told him he inherits all my dolls and he smiled at me!
Meanwhile my young man has been busy as a bee 🐝 the past three days along with his dad! I could never do this huge task without their help! My husband said, I need to pay my young man rent since I have taken his space.
As I kept decorating my house, I kept watching reels of people putting their set up! In India, you do get help from maid servants! I told my husband I love this, setting up all alone is the happiness 😀!
Competition for the Navaratri Golu are being posted! I have participated in the past! But I am now too mature to compete 😂! As I said, this something fun and that relaxes me! I wait for it a whole year and try to find a new doll! I run the entire show on my terms and I know Godess Durga always blesses me with her prize! Isn’t that the reason I keep having the energy to continue doing this?
Anyhow, I will post all my pictures and videos on the last day of Navaratri that is the 20th. I have friends dropping by and family who would be viewing it on video call! It is not like a surprise, but I do not want to bore them before with pictures!

I will not be thinking about diet the next two weeks! We made carrot and cashew kheer for Thursday cooking! Just a note, need to chilled otherwise it is not upto the mark!
