Rendezvous with new people!

What’s the best way to meet new people while traveling?

My dad was always big on what we call “rail sneham”! Getting acquainted with someone whom you meet on a train travel. Exchanging numbers and trying to be in touch!

I am not an introvert but lately I really do not want to have that kind of conversations. I love smiling at babies or toddlers! Interacting with unknown people in a different city not my cup of tea anymore.

I would love to travel to connect with known family members. I really do not want introductions to new people.

My son’s pcp changed because his old pcp (primary care physician) retired. Ha ha, that ordeal of meeting that new doctor yesterday was exhausting 😂! Anyhow that deal is done, I am going to take some mental break.

  1. I am a little wary of strangers. So I understand your feelings.

    1. Now playing it safe with just babies!

  2. I can completely relate to this! 😊 “Rail sneham” is such a lovely concept—your dad clearly had a wonderful way of turning a train journey into an opction! 😂portunity for friendship and connection. ❤️

But I think our social needs change with time. Sometimes we simply prefer meaningful conversations with people we already know rather than constantly introducing ourselves and starting from scratch.
