Yes, twenty five Thursdays in a row I published my son’s cooking video on his facebook page!
Now I have started deep diving into cooking watching Youtubers make snacks, breakfast and dinner specials! Trying to mix all types of cuisines to give the tongue the maximum taste and make the brain crave for more.
It is not easy to come up with the item for the day! It should be easy for me to teach and for my son to learn a skill! A lot goes in my brain before I come up with the item we are cooking! Then comes the part of making and recording the same! The mood should be good (for both of us) and the stars should align!
This week, we made spicy pin wheels. My son measured the flour and I made the dough! He rolled the dough into balls ! We together flattened the same! He spread the spiced mix! I helped him roll into a cylinder and cut it! Stove top was easy for him! He was pretty independent! Imagine the fine motor skills that went along with it 😃! Give me a star if you we feel I deserve for coming up with this 😊!
Our cooking is not limited to this day! He is with me in the kitchen for pretty much every meal 😃 helping and learning! I hope the consistency helps him the long run and that is the goal!
Then, an impromptu item was added! A side dish! Cilantro chutney! Cilantro, green chillies and tamarind! The whole plate was for him 😃!
