Hope!

I had cleared up my morning for a particular task! But I didn’t do that! I just walked around enjoying the free time! Maybe I didn’t want to do that activity. Now I have to squeeze the same tomorrow morning in between other things!

Youtube is full of classes! I switched on something and enjoyed the same for a good twenty minutes! With online shopping I see a statement, malls never close! With online learning, schools never close! Yes, when the Pandora Box opened hope also flew out! That is what internet is all about!

I watched a depressing video about how AI is going to bring down the economy! The person talked as if it was an apocalypse! Hey, I got my son’s diagnosis when I was in my twenties, I survived! An AI apocalypse is not going to hurt me! The generation after me are also strong! They will survive!

I had 33 views from China alone today! The bots are active!

Hope you all had a good day! See you all tomorrow with another blog!

  1. Sometimes, putting the planned tasks aside to do something more relaxing is just the kind of day you need!

I think AI is disruptive but will also create new kind of jobs that we haven’t dreamed of yet – just like we now have online retail and social media influencers.

    1. Yes you are right! We may have something different then. My husband says the scare just like the Y2K problem we thought was going to happen 😃! I remember cooking so much food December 31st 1999. Just to be safe 🤣!

  2. You are right. Problems will be there and most people will face them with a positive attitude. I too put aside something which I should be doing 😀

    1. We then finish the task in between so many others 😊!

  3. I am quite tired of bots too. Used to diligently delete their subscription but now given up. Why do we associate a particular country with nefarious activities? Mindset or no smoke without fire ?

    1. I told my brother once I had views from China once! He told me, “bots”! It stuck. ha ha, I am happy if some real person China reads my blig and has fun 😃!

  4. Dear Ganga ji,

What a beautifully honest post — the kind that makes the rest of us feel less alone in our very human tendency to let a cleared morning melt into glorious, unplanned wandering! Sometimes the soul simply refuses to do what the calendar demands, and perhaps that’s not laziness but wisdom quietly voting for rest.

Your line about the internet being Pandora’s Box — with hope flying out alongside everything else — is pure poetry. And it’s true: for every doom-laden AI prophecy, there’s a class, a connection, a story waiting. You watched twenty minutes of something just for the joy of it — that’s hope in action.

Your perspective on surviving the diagnosis in your twenties, and knowing the next generation is strong enough to weather whatever comes — that’s the voice of hard-won resilience. It puts all the apocalypse talk into perspective. We’ve survived worse; we’ll survive this too.

And 33 views from China — hello, international readers! The bots may be active, but so are the humans who keep coming back for your words.

Take it easy tomorrow with that squeezed-in task. And if it doesn’t happen — well, the malls never close, and neither does your wisdom.

See you tomorrow, Ganga ji! 🌸

    1. Thank you! Hopefully I have readers in China!

  5. Sometimes the task we avoid is simply the one we needed a little more motivation to start! 😄 Tomorrow is another chance.🤍

    1. Very true 😃! Whole another day.
