What I didn’t visit!

The weekend was really busy! I am not going to pen down what I did but something I didn’t do!

We were near the above West Virginia Penetentiary! A place famous for historic, Gothic-style prison built in 1866 and closed in 1995. Spanning 10 acres, the massive stone fortress now functions as a popular tourist destination offering guided history walks, paranormal investigations, escape rooms, and a famous autumn haunted house

As a person who loves mystery and murder why did I skip this attraction? I just blamed on my son that he would not tolerate a three hour guided tour! I think I just hid behind him! Deep down I am scared! He was just my excuse 😀🤷‍♀️!

They do charge a hefty price for some of the tours. I think I may pass it up even it was for free! Let me know if you would love to have this kind of experience! I just realizzed this weekend I was not a person who would enter something that is haunted 😀!

  1. Hahaha, mystery yes, haunted prison… maybe not so much! 😂👻

    1. I had a huge realization about reality 🤣!

  2. Sounds like a very interesting venue full of mystery and perhaps some paranormal activity too! Next time. 😊

  3. I’m not superstitious, but I’d have balked at the three hours as well. I’m not much for group activities anyhow.

  4. Gosh! How haunted was it.. Paranormal investigation sounds killing. But like you I wouldn’t like to be part of it.

    1. I know people who have gone there for ghost hunting 🤷‍♀️! Otherwise I stood at a parking lot next door and just took a picture 🙂!

  5. I think is also make an excuse not to visit the prison
