What’s a song lyric that has stuck with you forever?
Recently I started attending Divya Prabandham classes. It is conducted by our temple priest online. It is in my own mother tongue Tamil about the glories of Lord Vishnu. I did not grow up in the Vaishnavite or Vishnu worshipping sampradaya or clan so I was not exposed to the same. But I have always enjoyed listening to the tune when they chant in the temple.

The entire poetry has so much tongue twisters and old Tamil, I should say I am struggling. I find myself fluent in Sanskrit verses than Tamil or that particular composition. Other than class timing, I think I should open the book and practice a few verses. I did order the same (paying so much to get it shipped from India) and have so many many markings on it to make it easy for me.

Meanwhile my sanskrit teacher taught us what those lines meant yesterday in class. I am really in “awe” how much there is to learn and to enjoy in this world.
To answer the prompt, I have a mixture of all the lyrics from various scriptures damglimg before me and none that I mastered. I am technically a half baked soul right now.😃😃
Tomorrow is Guru Poornima. I offer my prostrations to my Guru Sri Sri Sti Ganapathy Sacchidananda Swamiji. Our family met Him personally exactly fifteen years ago under difficult conditions and circumstances. People ask me how I take care of my son. I have to say his blessings and strength is what has kept me going.

Here is a meditation video of Him playing the flute.
