If not for my trip, I would say my blog would have been about the Norwegien fan’s Viking cheer at FIFA games! Ro! Ro!
The weather today at Rockies felt like it was going to be a bummer! We got an early morning timed entry! We are jet lagged so got up early and found ourselves in rain and fog! Checked off all the touristy things and finally found some wildlife!

As we exited the park, I stopped near the visitor center map! We didn’t even cover one percent of the park inspite drive from east end to the west end of the park! I really understood what wilderness meant.
The highlight today for me personally was seeing the Colorado river which begins there. Stepping in and drinking a sip gave me a high! The same Colorado river we have seen at Grand Canyon and at Hoover dam. So this was a milestone moment.

Traveling with my young man means a lot of compromises and planning. We have checked off our 15th park which is one of the busiest ones. All of us in our family had special moments and lots of memories to remember.

Our road trip continues and we leave Denver suburbs tomorrow. We are hoping to check off more sites and parks as we travel. Please join me again tomorrow.

Rocky Mountain wildflowers are famous. I may one day just post pictures of all these lovelies I found.
