The day FOMO hit me hard!

What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?

The long weekend flew away! Summer has set it’s foot in and I packed my first picnic basket today!

After two days of rain, temple visits and eating prasadams we decided my young man needed his walk at a park! Yup, the sun was out by noon. I packed a simple picnic lunch and off we drove to Tomlinson State Park in West Virginia! Ha ha, for us, driving to a state park in PA is farther than driving to a state park in Ohio or West Virginia. Pittsburgh is so close to Ohio and West Virginia!

The park was recommended to me by a good friend as she tagged me on fb!

The park was beautiful after all the rains and yes, I was busy taking pictures.

On the way back home we stopped by Mcdonald for coffee and I checked the fb video that had been shared. Oh boy, I had missed one waterfall in the park! I showed it to my family and the men didn’t care meanwhile “me” was all depressed! Yes, FOMO came into me.

So to answer the prompt, all is not attainable! All through the day I was boasting how smart I was to plan the trip today as the rainfall had made the stream gush and made the park lovely! Anyway maybe next time! 😊

    This felt so real and fun to read from the perfect picnic plan to discovering you still missed a waterfall at the end. Honestly, it sounds like a beautiful day anyway: good food, nature after the rain, family time, and a little McDonald’s coffee to wrap it up. Maybe “having it all” isn’t the point…. sometimes it’s just enjoying the day you actually got.
