I already wrote about how I sacrificed my career to be with my kids! I had said I would not call it sacrifice since it was a great decision I made for my family even though it meant we were a single income family!

Coming to present day, I am up on a bright Sunday morning cleaning up my kitchen! It is going to be a beautiful day and the sun is hitting my face as I discard some old things and my containers are getting filled up with spices! Not organizing properly would lead to duplicating things in the kitchen which would be long forgotten! A 100 mg of extra carrrom seeds and a pound of extra channa dal needs to find a container. Indian cooking is oily and most of the surface is sticky. I am letting the surfaces get soaked in cleaning liquid so that after a few hours they can come out with ease! Things that are not being used is now put in bags for charity to come and pick up! Yes, no more sentiments towards unused utensils and containers.

Yup, sacrificing a Sunday morning to clean my kitchen but I am hoping my kitchen would be temporarily closed and we would eat out all day 😀!
