Mother’s Day reflection!

Sometimes you don’t plan anything but things work out good!

I was not interested in going out for a Mother’s day lunch since my young man had his baseball game. I was fine cooking but we ended up going for a dinner! Ha! The restaurant offered a free Mother’s Day an eggless cake in the end!

I was not interested in presents but good friend did gave me a National Parks coloring book today! I am not so great at coloring but I think I need a new hobby to distract myself and yes I have to buy a good set of color pencils!

Today we also hit a state park! There are 125 state parks in Pennsylvania! The weather turned out great after a rainybstary and we hiked down to a river. It was real steep! Then drove to a waterfalls and enjoyed the beginning of our summer walks! Let’s see how many parks we cover this year in PA 😀!

Yes, it was a busy day and I think I missed my blogging streak. That is fine! It was great day!

It was crazy hat day at our baseball game
Yes it was a climb!

And a wonderful gift 🎁

  3. What a beautiful reminder Ganga that sometimes the unplanned days turn into the most memorable ones! It sounds like everything fell into place perfectly—from the surprise eggless cake to the thoughtful coloring book (a wonderful new hobby, by the way). And hiking down to a river, chasing waterfalls, and setting a goal to explore Pennsylvania’s state parks? That’s the start of a wonderful summer adventure. Don’t worry about the blogging streak—you were busy making real-life memories, and that’s what matters most. Here’s to more unplanned, joy-filled days and many more parks to discover! 😊🌲
