Risky things!

When is the last time you took a risk? How did it work out?

I checked what I wrote for this blog last year. It was me riding the skilift in Smoky mountains.

It worked out great and let me tell you no time soon I am going to attempt that one again.

I am not going to bunjee jump nor do a zip line. I am not a person who is going to climb down the Grand Canyon or fly in a helicopter on top of it! Of course jumping off a plane with a parachute 🪂 is also not in my agenda.

Literally I am saving dollars 💵 not doing the above!

Give me a choice I will do trains instead of airplanes. I am fine with boats and ships even though I do not know swimming.

Okay, planning to clean the garage the next few weeks! Maybe that is a risk I am going to take. 😊

My neighbor told me these are barn swallows. Getting acquainted with them the past few summers 😊!

  2. This made me smile from start to finish. 😊 There’s something so honest and refreshing about knowing exactly what you don’t want to do—and owning it with humor. The skilift in the Smokies sounds like a lifetime achievement on its own! And honestly? Choosing trains over planes, boats over swimming lessons, and garage cleanup over bungee jumping? That’s not fear—that’s wisdom with a side of self-awareness. Plus, getting acquainted with barn swallows over several summers sounds way more peaceful than a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. Enjoy that garage risk—watch out for swooping swallows! 😄
