A change in me?

Describe one positive change you have made in your life.

I wrote for the prompt last year saying, I will not fall prey to FOMO!

Ha ha, I think I would be lying if I say I have transformed myself completely.

I thought of things I am unable to do yesterday and felt missing out on those. The only difference I was able to come out of that cycle and get back to my work!

Yes life doesn’t allow me to do many things and my young man takes priority. The question of “what after us” keeps nagging parents of special needs people and I would say that is the most discussed topic in groups.

It does make your day even more difficult when you are constantly in touch with reality on many groups but I should say I have tried my best leave those thoughts behind when I leave the chat.

I try to enjoy the privileges that I have with me now and try to keep my mental sanity!

That said, it was a beautiful day yesterday. The bird watched a dog playing on the grass! I wondered about the thought process of the bird!

  1. This is such an honest, tender, and beautifully human reflection. It doesn’t try to pretend perfection—and that’s exactly what makes it so powerful. The way you acknowledge FOMO without judging yourself for it feels incredibly real and relatable. Growth isn’t about eliminating these feelings completely, but about what you did—you noticed them, and then gently found your way back. That’s strength.
