A bit of help

Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

We started putting things away and the weekend seems to be cleaning weekend.

Don’t want to jinx it but my husband listened to me yesterday and he and my special one put away the Christmas tree. We also started catching up on our laundry.

Ha ha, I am feeling overwhelmed with this suport. I wanted a good progress before we went for our weekend bagels and coffee and it looks like we will be on target with our house keeping.

I think love need not always be diamonds and jewelry. It can even be a simple help.

My choice of coffee is not dark roast but medium roast.

  2. This is such a warm, relatable reflection on love in its truest form. You’ve beautifully shown how love lives in the everyday moments—being heard, shared effort, quiet teamwork, and small acts of support that ease the heart. The honesty, humor, and gratitude in your words make it deeply comforting and real. You’re absolutely right: love isn’t always grand gestures; often it’s folded into laundry, packed away in Christmas boxes, and shared over bagels and coffee. A gentle, lovely reminder that love shows up when we feel supported and understood. ☕💛

  3. Love your example. I was going to share a similar example. It’s the simple things, like cleaning up, that let me know my son loves me. Love language, so to speak!
