Head back in time?

If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?

For nearly half hour I have been thinking about this prompt. I really have no clue for this answer. Wow! I am surprised at myself since I do not have any idol figures from the historical past that I am attracted to! Maybe they were just part of my history lesson and my mind didn’t worship them to meet or greet.

Maybe go on a time machine and meet people from early civilizations like the Indus Valley or Egypt? Try to walk in their shoes or live their luves? No I have no interest in doing that. Isn’t there a reason we have museums with old dinosaurs and broken pots. I fine being in this age.

Anyhow we did visit Pompeii and Titanic special exhibits when they visited Carnegie Science Museum.

We have the entire Jack and Annie’s Magic Tree House collection in our house and we have been to quite a few places time traveling. Pompeii was our favorite. Was it because it had volcano? I need to go back and look at those books again.

On the other hand, I have so much on hand today and time traveling even through books is not going to happen. Off to switch off my stove as I smell something getting over cooked!
