The tide is changing !

Do you trust your instincts?

This is the third year in a row that I am attempting on this prompt. I really do not want to trust or attempt to believe in my instincts. The reason being only instincts with negative thoughts happens. This has been my opinion.

That said, two days back I told my husband that the tide has changed for us with regard to us visiting temples with our young man. That he is behaving well inside the temple and we are able to attend the prayers. Was it an instinct? I thought so. But then I realized, I have a found the bug or the problem for him. He has high anxiety towards food. We usually go to a temple before having lunch or dinner. I think with his hunger , his anxiety towards food, his patience wears off in the crowd and that leads to a meltdown. So the past few times, we fed him and took him and touchwood he did great. I think we did solve one piece of his puzzle.

When Tsunami came in 2004, the birds and the animals knew about it. I think they observe things better than us. I think we can make bad things better and good things even more if we can observe our surroundings more.

Temple to go dinner box! Diwali celebrations.

  1. I love this story because it’s all about being in tune with your son’s routines and understanding what triggers him and making those adjustments. Congrats on this big success!
