Special Mom’s blog

This is the first time I am attempting this prompt. That says a lot. That I have not met any famous or infamous person.

On further thinking and after deep thoughts I have to acknowledge that I indeed have met a few famous figures!

We have been to the Disney World in Orlando twice. We have stumbled onto characters with our autograph books. Winnie the Pooh got a big bear hug when my young autistic son decided to use him as a hug pillow. Oh, Donald duck was also free to give us an autograph but the rest of the famous characters we saw from a distance.

The second trip we were accompanied by our younger son who was in first grade. We stood in line for more than thirty minutes to get an autograph and a professional picture with Mickey Mouse! This time when the parade came, they encouraged my autistic son who now was a teen to be with the parade. I think we rubbed shoulders with chip and dale.

Yup, great experiences at a good cost! Oh we have done a ride on Thomas train and have taken pictures with Sir Topham hat.

Anyhow these were before smart phone era and I don’t have any pictures to share here. Have to search physical albums. That said, I need to organize that place more😊! That is all our experience with some famous people.
