Vending machines and screen time. You decide.

How do you manage screen time for yourself?

My favorite travel Youtubers are posting from Japan 😃! I never had any interest to travel to that country. But I love this couple that I ended up watching their video.

This lead to a casacade effect. My feed was full of Japan travel videos. The past two days I ended up watching five videos of another person using the rail system in Japan. An American traveler having food from just the vending machine and traveling by public transport. My husband too joined me in my adventure and at 10 pm last night we finished the series.

The good thing that came out of it. I didn’t touch my phone. It acted like a landline charging. We watched it on our big screen TV in our living room and we even watched while doing some work.

People put away your phone. Use Televisions and laptops/desktop to watch and read the same things you do on your phone. You will not feel guilty doing it 😃! Take it as a tip. Your phone’s screen time will come down.

My special young man is addicted to vending machines. He sees one, he needs a snack from that one. We would easily survive on vending machines alone in Japan if he is left in that city. And yes, they are very cheap. I gained a lot of knowledge watching these videos. Btw no reels to scrolls. It was whole 20 to 25 minute videos made into five episodes 😄!

Am I smart in bringing down my phone screen time 😀😀😀!

  1. It’s a great tip and the bonus is the family time spent together!

    1. Ha ! I thought I hooked from one screen to another. Yes, the bonus is family time which we are never experiencing.

  2. That’s actually a clever way to enjoy and learn at the same time! Japan, vending machines, and less phone time, this is a winning combo, Ganga. 😊😊
