Kid at heart ❤️

What does it mean to be a kid at heart?

My younger one shared a Tom and Jerry video yesterday. Usually he just shares snake videos knowing I am not comfortable even with virtual snakes 😄. We both laughed at Tom becoming a victim of his own actions.

This really made me think of the time I had with him watching Thomas train and Curious George. When we have kids we too become their age. We love to be in their shoes voluntarily and enjoy that carefree moments of no responsibility.

It is sad kids nowadays want to grow up and become adults fast. The adult world is competitive, has many curve balls and too many unknown factors.

By the way, I am not for an adult behaving like a kid but once a while taking a break and becoming a kid is not bad. It just eases our tension.

Even my mom talks about Curious George. Who doesn’t love this naughty monkey who teaches so many things.

By the way it is okay to jump into a puddle of rain wateronce a while and getting yourself all wet and dirty. If it eases your tension then do it. But the drawback is there is no mom to wash your clothes you need to do it on your own 😀!

  1. I often say that the real joy in parenting is to experience the world through a child’s eyes – full of innocence, joy and wonder – and wanting to preserve that as long as possible before the inevitable transition to adulthood.

I also think adults who preserve their inner child are the ones who’ve figured out a key to enjoying life!

    1. Yes those younger years fly away so fast that they become adults before we blink an eye but the bond stays.
