Global warming?

What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

I have been feeling global warming and I have to accept that it is real. I would say I was on the fence about it but now I am accepting it!!! It had been a warm September and I do see my plants still bearing fruits. The leaves have not changed colors and October has put it’s feet firmly in!

I really have no control over what is happening weather wise. Just pray for the goodness of the world and what more can I do?

Pointing fingers at each other for the cause or fighting over it is not going to change anything. But I am happy we are all aware of the same.

Kouse Dogwood

I noticed this plant yesterday with berries during my walk. Never have seen it in the past. Is it new? Or is it me observing more things? Anyhow the berries are edible!

After a busy September which was spent with Navaratri celebrations getting back to my walking and routines. But the way we did do two 5ks in September!

October is going to be spent outdoors since it is not yet cold. Halloween parties and fall colors are the on the radar. Also personal celebration milestones are added in. So definitely a month to enjoy.

  1. This is a wonderfully reflective and grounded post. It beautifully captures the journey from abstract concern to personal acceptance of a changing climate, paired with a resilient and positive outlook.

Your shift from uncertainty to acknowledgment, without falling into blame, is a powerful and healthy approach. Your focus on observation—the late berries, the unchanged leaves—shows a beautiful connection to the natural world, and your commitment to walking and enjoying the season is a perfect way to stay engaged and hopeful.

It’s a great reminder that while we can’t control everything, we can choose to be present, aware, and find joy in the moments we are given. Wishing you a wonderful October filled with celebration, colorful walks, and many more personal milestones
