Today I am writing my blog a bit early. Tgif and the work week is done. I have a few minutes to myself.

I got this set for 25 dollars from an online store many many moons ago. I called them to confirm and read out my credit card and we discussed shipping cost etc. I felt I made a huge purchase at that time 😄😂. Haven’t things changed the past twenty years as how we shop.
After this purchase there was no stopping for me. Till today I know all the online stores in the US that sells these dolls. I am also getting connected with people in India. I can officially be called a golu doll collector.
I used to shop online from a store in Dallas. During pandemic we drove to Dallas and went to that shop. I was disappointed there weren’t many there. The guy at the shop told me they had the dolls in a warehouse. We placed an online order in the store and we picked up the same from the store the next day as they had to get it from the warehouse.
Anyhow Adi Shankara and his shishyas (students) was my first themed golu. Adi Shankara’s works are one too many. The past decade I have been learning them and enjoying them. When I got the set that time with two little kids I didn’t expect to learn this much or learn things this detailed. Maybe my destiny to learn was blessed with His arrival.

Works of Adi Shankara. His works are many and as I read the above site I have just washed my hands in the ocean.🙏
