Information Overload

Which topics would you like to be more informed about?

Isn’t there too much information already around us?

I remember a time my grandfather used to write letters to mom. The snail mail gave us information that sailed slowly amd smoothly for us to absorb it. Any question asked would be answered only a week later.

We went to the library for general knowledge information and it took us some time. News came just once a day and sometimes twice.

All these gave time for our brain to relax. Now there is so much information flowing in our palm of our hands from medical advances to engineering innovations to anything happening in the remote islands of Fiji. Did you know there is a beach in California called the Salton Sea and it is one of the most polluted lake? The saline content is more than an ocean and it is a tourist attraction? So many videos on YouTube about this tourist attraction.

I happy with whatever information I have.

I rest my case 😊!

Information is wealth, but sometimes it feels overwhelming. At times, I get exhausted for not being able to learn everything. As you said, we should be happy with what we already know, and learn more whenever possible. I’m just consoling my mind with that thought. Being a craft enthusiast, I often regret not being able to explore everything on the internet, but your message feels so healing and convincing. It’s truly a lesson I’ll keep in mind forever. Thank you so much, sissy. 💐🙏🌸🫡

  2. I still have the letters my grandfather wrote to his brother in the 60s. Both aren’t alive anymore but their decades old exchange of thoughts on pieces of paper values so much more than today’s digitally/highly volatile age of information

    1. Yes, letter writing is an art. Something that is lost in this age of texting.
