Quiet often

How often do you walk or run?

By God’s grace I can walk. So? But running is a different story 😊!

We boil milk! We boil milk to make our coffee! We boil milk to make homemade yogurt. Do you know a watched pot (milk) never boils?

So we leave the pot or the pan on the stove, take a few steps just to browse through our phone, or clear a table, we can hear the milk rising up and the smell of a drop of milk hitting the fire. It is at that monent, we run our life’s 100 m dash. Have you done that? We all have. No one can beat us not even a trained Olympian yet the milk wins. Add a handful of oats to it, the milk boils with vengeance when we are away and even with us shattering every record the combo of milk and oats would reach the burner.

So how often do I run? Whenever I have a pot of milk on the stove. I get myself trained for Olympic 100 m dash. Yes, Usain Bolt cannot compete with me.

My 14 year old stove giving a good fight with my milk.

  1. haha Yes, I’ve had this happen a few times. If you watch it, it takes forever, but just turn away and it’s gone over the top in a second. 🙂

    1. And memory of hitting our tiny toe to a chair enroute to switch off the stove 😊.

  3. Haha, so relatable! Nothing makes us sprint faster than milk about to overflow—true everyday Olympics!
