Chain of thoughts story

Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

I have traveled multiple times between India and the US. So what story should I tell you all? I was having the thoughts when I placed my breakfast for my special young man. It was a mixed vegetable soup. I used the pepper grinder to add pepper to the same.

Then my mind started traveling. Oh where did I get this pepper grinder? Maybe in one of my travels? Where? I don’t remember?

I got it in an American store and not in an Indian store that I could conclude. Unlike Indians, Americans just use this pepper for spice and they do use a very small amount was my next thought.

Oh, isn’t that the reason Vasco de gama and the East India company came to India for the black peppers? My mind continued to travel as I toasted a piece of bread for myself.

Anyhow my thoughts continued, my man was having a very hard time using the grinder and I need to teach him to be independent and I put it in a bucket list of things he needs to learn.

A simple prompt just led to a chain of thoughts and I had traveled a lot within a span of 15 minutes.

Our minds can travel anywhere and everywhere without fear or any cost. Ask any school teacher or a public speaker none of their audience can guarantee a 100 percent attention and they know it 😊!

Have a great day all!

  2. An unexpected response to the prompt, Ganga. This definitely applies to me too – the zoning out, including when people are talking to me. 🤣
