A dream or a reality?

If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?

I really do not have business dna in me! I would be a major failure whatsoever I sell has always been my thought.

Anyhow I would love to sell things my son makes now. But I really need support to do that. With his mood swings and anxiety I can’t make any commitments but can I work out something?

Setting up a business involves multiple steps. It is lot of hard work on the part of the person doing it along with support from family and friends. Yes people skills are needed too and of course we need to be an extrovert!

While growing up, I never considered myself setting up a business. I really wanted a full time job with a pay for me or my husband but now as my son grows old a big part of me wants him to be engaged. I really do hope I set up something for him. I do not think with all his issues it would give him a full time employment or income but would definitely keep him engaged. Will that happen? I do not know. But I would keep trying as I have been all these years.

I think this is one blog that is so much disorganized is content because my mind is all over the place with the prompt.

My son’s major strength is in the kitchen. Will it materialize into something good? Time can only tell.

  1. Your blog is heartfelt and courageous, offering a raw and honest glimpse into your hopes, fears, and determination as a parent
The way you’ve expressed your love for your son, your willingness to adapt, and your persistence despite uncertainty is truly inspiring.
It’s this authenticity — not perfect organization — that makes your words so powerful and relatable.

  2. Opening a shop sounds tricky without the business gene, but the real star here is yours son’s son’s kitchen skills—impressive and full of promise. Even with mood swings and anxiety, keeping him engaged matters most. With support and time, something good can definitely cook up. Keep trying; that’s what truly counts.!

  4. Your words moved me deeply. What you’ve shared isn’t disorganized—it’s a reflection of real life, with all its twists, uncertainties, and quiet hopes. You’re not just thinking about starting a business; you’re dreaming of a space where your son can thrive, feel valued, and be engaged. That’s not failure—that’s courage. All the best!

  5. I’ve always wanted to do business instead of a job. Working under someone has never been my thing, I’m too independent minded for that….but alas, not everyone gets what they want…
