What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?
I have been a “looser” my entire life! To explain it further I loose things. I had lost pencils, erasers and sharpners in school and I remember loosing my mom’s favorite bag in a beach.
Fast forward a life with a hyperactive kid, I lost my first gift (a watch) by my husband. I leave my phone all over the place and I can declare myself absent minded.
Let me tell you, I haven’t lost my kids. At one point I had a super fast autistic 9 year old and a toddler. I have successfully taken them on Boston subways and everywhere. So what was the problem with me?
I need to carry my purse, my phone and my keys. I think these are staple for everyone. In addition I need to carry my son’s IPad and sometimes even a pair of sock. So for a “looser” like me all these are complicated.
The last year has been a trial and error for me as to how I am going to carry these without loosing or me being messy. My young man if lost can’t communicate, so when I am out with him I rarely loose sight of him.
I have finally come up with three bags. Two are backpacks and one is a sling bag. I pick one up depending on the kind of travel I make with my young man. I love backpacks since they make both my hands free and have enough space to carry the necessities and maybe extra one. The sling bag also has the same comfort with my hands being free. But this is smaller and is comfortable for short trips.
I hope I am not jinxing but I think, these have made me less of a looser🙂!
Blast from the past:
My brother was always considered the smart one in my house. He never lost anything. One time a kid in his class stole his fancy eraser. He waited for the final exams and he knew the kid would bring it to school. He complained to the teacher and retrieved the eraser. I remember him talking about it forever with my grandmother.😊
