Multitasking

I have a big fat ego about me able to multitask things. But today I burnt something while I was trying to organize a cabinet. Yes, I thought I could organize something and at the same time cook. Right under my nose (literally and figuratively), I burnt my dry roast ingredients. I thought I had the stove on low! Anyhow I quickly recovered, dumped the burnt spices and made a new batch. Yes, I somewhat finished organizing too.

My husband never multitasks. We constantly argue what is right. Should we multitask or not?

So after my cooking I took a deep breath sat down and thought deeply about it! Of course praying my husband doesn’t come home to a kitchen with a burnt smell. Didn’t want to look like a looser. My realization. The past few weeks, mentally I have been distracted. Yup, I can blame multiple things for it. Maybe my brain has been multitasking and my physical job was just too much. Until the time, my brain gets relaxed 😎 I have decided not to multitask while cooking 🤷‍♀️!

So what was I making? Our bumper harvest tomatoes were becoming a sauce or thokku! By the way I take zero credit for garden this year! Every bit has been his effort. I still keep thinking what would have happened if I had burnt my tomatoes ?
