Bowing down to July

This was a very busy month as we travelled a lot and filled our passport pages (National Parks 😊) yet a month I took myself a vacation from my son’s activities at home.

Today we finally stepped inside Hobby Lobby and picked up materials to finish off crafts we started in spring. I enjoyed this break but I think I am built to work with my young man.

August and September is just filled with Hindu festivals and I am scratching my head as how I am going to balance our travel and my boy’s activities to the festival schedule. Fall is a perfect time to walk on the trails and my FOMO is on high gear.

Anyhow keeping ourselves engaged is good in one too many ways. An idle mind is a devil’s workshop and I feel we are done resting 🙂.

Thanks to the person who posted this picture on social media. I love those words. We had both good and bad days in July. That is what my son’s autism is all about. The hard days don’t erase our good days and keeping fingers crossed for a beautiful August.
