The world is a wonderful place

I hear thunderstorms rumbling but there is no rain. The past few days I have been blogging from a bleacher near Casey’ Clubhouse, a baseball field for Special people. I am enjoying this. Once fall rolls in I may not be able to do it.

There are days I am really happy for the world. Today was one. I take my special young man out in the community a lot. I take him to places that are familiar to him and for the people there. Today we went to our only vegetarian Indian restaurant in the city. They had recently remodeled and moved some booth settings and tables. My man always chooses on particular booth and he was a bit confused. The owner saw to it that he got the same booth he always gets and remembered about it. It had been a while since we had been there. Five stars for the caring hospitality. The food automatically tasted good when you are felt welcomed in these places. We have one more restaurant where my young man’s order is always rushed so as to calm his anxiety. Yes we are repeat customers but the way it is shown needs to be appreciated.

There would be a percentage of people who may comment on me or my young man in the community and I need to start ignoring those people. If I don’t my mind would be just filled with hatred and I can’t move on. The world is a beautiful place with wonderful people but we do get pricked by thorns. Just need to ignore or walk around it. Just try to heal the wound caused by the thorn and try to avoid the situation.
