What bothers you and why?
It really bothers me when people say “in those olden days or in my childhood we didn’t have this or that”.
Of course I too try to remember those days when we didn’t have internet nor a phone that would do all. I force my kids to use pen and say this is a much better option than typing.
But I really would not say kids these days are having an easy life. I would not say they have every technology to help them and live. I would say they have problems for their era or age and that in no way should be discounted.
My great grand parents lived in an era with death during childbirth. My grandfather used to remember with sadness the death of his older sister during childbirth. He must have been close to her. That doesn’t mean I have an easy life now. Who knew I would be tackling anxiety and OCD in an adult child when the world seems to have medically advanced.
Every era has it’s own good and bad things. Just need that generation to learn to live with that.

We visited a state park near Dallas. I made my son use the hand pump. Yup remembered the days when this was a source of water for many in Chennai, India during an acute water shortage. Yes, in those days we worked hard for water! 😃
