Since 2021 I have been organizing our trip pictures as a movie. Most of them are on Youtube for our family view only or in a private setting.
This is my self interest and the rest of my family shows no interest in looking back at them. I keep thinking will a time come when they would want to view the same but I do not think it is going to happen in the near future.
I also take a family picture every year and blow it up in canvas and hang it during New Year! My husband says it really makes him sad as the picture shows him aging 😂! But the picture remains on the wall! My son with autism is not interested in any visual items and my younger one whom I can call a last of Gen Z doesn’t care about it.
This is where I talk about my “patience”. I do not get angry or sad with them. I give them their space of not enjoying my work and I am happy I am not being stopped from doing the same.
I love making albums and technology has made it so easy. A hobby which we do not need to spend a lot of money just some time and effort. Even a huge canvas print costs cheap (less than a breakfast for our family of 4). So I continue to do it and maybe one day I would get appreciated for the effort! Nah! that is not going to happen. If it does, I may need to take my family to a doctor to see what is wrong with them.

This post I am tagging to Sadje’s Sunday Poser. Her question being What were your initial expectations when you started your blog?
Like everyone I thought I would be making money by blogging. Soon I realized I need to pay WordPress money to have space. This has become a hobby and more of a personal space. It is my space and I can ramble on it and I enjoy doing it. It has become a stress buster for me and has also created an individuality. I wanted the blog to reflect me and I am more than thrilled about it. My blog is just like my photo album collection but it is just public.
I had answered to Sadje in her comments but as I wrote the blog I felt a connection to her poser. In fact a reflection of why I blog.

When I was in India last year, I was checking the albums in my parents place. I had made albums like journals with what I had that time. Thanking my dad once again, we were lucky growing up, we visited a lot many places in India when transportation was not this comfortable or cheap.
