Test of endurance done!

My cappuccino cup had another purpose this week! It was super hot and my cold carrot kheer (milk), tasted so good in it! Who knew a cube of ice would give so much taste! Yes, not a coffee week.

I did write during my week of a puzzle project that was messed up by my son! Yes, Rome was not built in a day and it took us two days and it was finished off today evening. I really had to support him with this puzzle and I don’t know why. But I pursued him to do it in our sunroom. Yes, we need to get used to the heat. We are off to Dallas next weekend. More National Park/sites need to be checked off and I don’t want to fear heat. We just need to create endurance for this kind if weather in a safe way!

Completed National Parks Puzzle
Two pieces were under the board and maybe that was the reason he got stuck!

It was really hard to get that 10,000 steps this week. We had to wait for the sun to set before we ventured out of the house. But many plants seemed to love the sun and this bloomed flower was one.

We did see a rainbow yesterday but within an hour another round of thunderstorms came through! What a week it was weatherwise. Even now hearing thunder as I write my blog.

It is the 27th of June, not only the month but half the year is over so soon! We have visited two National Parks and five National Park sites the first half of 2025, so how many for the rest of the year, just need to wait and see.
