Caffeine loaded week

We are spring cleaning inside and outside and yes, I was loaded with a lot of caffeine.

We made coffee and tea at our home and we went out for coffee too! Yes, for a ton of work in between the rains, caffeine was our family’s strength.

The best coffee we had was at Pittsburgh Botanical Garden Cafe. We went around 2.15pm and they said, the garden closes at 7pm but the cafe closed at 3 pm. Coffee was our priority and the brownie attracted my young man. What a yummy coffee.

Today was International Donut Day and we stopped by Duck Donuts for a free cinnamon donut. Who can eat a donut alone? We needed to wash it off with a cup of coffee. The coffee was a bit strong but that helped me go through my day. Meanwhile my younger one stopped at Dunkin Donuts. He got a free donut when he purchased a beverage. Duck Donuts did not have that condition. (Information for people who want to celebrate this day next year).

Anyhow I made cappuccino after a long time on Tuesday when our garden cleaning was in full swing. I would say my cappuccino can be given a solid B plus and of course it was free. I can therefore give to an A plus.

If you did read my hump day post this week you would remember my mini battle with my rabbits. I have not seen them since then. Maybe they are hiding because of the rain. I just need to wait and see if they would be returning back.

The air conditioning is on. The sun is strong. We are having monsoon type rains. The trees are full of leaves, the shrubs full of flowers and the grass green. Finally I can say with confidence we have entered into summer. Every day will be active.

Meanwhile my brother traveled to Montreal and posted a beautiful sky on his status. Thought I would use that on my blog today. It was beautiful.

For Natalie’s Weekend Coffee Share:

I am not a photographer but the Botanical garden’s theme is sensory and it was very engaging.

It was an easy and fun 2.5 mile trail
